30th Annual Mammography in Santa Fe – General Information
30th Interactive Breast Imaging in Santa Fe
One of the World’s Most Hands-On Breast Imaging Programs
Why this program matters
The 30th Annual Interactive Breast Imaging in Santa Fe is designed for radiologists who want more than lectures — they want meaningful, hands-on experience that directly strengthens clinical performance.
While the program includes high-level didactic education delivered by internationally recognized faculty, the defining feature of this conference is its immersive, workstation-based learning experience. Participants actively interpret cases, engage with advanced technologies, and work directly with imaging tools — not simply observe them.
This is one of the most hands-on breast imaging programs in the world.
A truly interactive experience
In addition to structured didactic sessions covering mammography, tomosynthesis, breast MR, contrast-enhanced mammography, ultrasound, and emerging technologies, participants will interpret:
200 Breast MR Cases
Interpret 200 breast MR cases at the workstation to strengthen confidence and decision-making in modern MR practice.
100 Tomosynthesis + AI Cases
Interpret 100 screening tomosynthesis cases with Artificial Intelligence integration applied to each study.
100 CEM Cases
Interpret 100 Contrast Enhanced Mammography (CEM) cases at the workstation to build practical reading experience.
Each case set is designed to strengthen perception, diagnostic decision-making, and workflow confidence in real-world clinical scenarios. Attendees do not passively review slides — they sit at the workstation, read cases independently, and apply structured interpretive strategies under expert faculty guidance.
Artificial Intelligence integration
This year’s program integrates Artificial Intelligence directly into the tomosynthesis case experience. Participants will interpret 100 screening tomosynthesis cases with AI applied to each study, allowing radiologists to:
- Compare independent interpretation with AI-supported analysis
- Develop familiarity with AI-assisted workflow
- Evaluate how AI integrates into real-world screening environments
This practical exposure helps attendees move beyond theory and into applied AI use within daily clinical practice.
Beyond the workstation: hands-on technique
In addition to case-based interpretation, the program includes hands-on procedural components and tool-based instruction, including:
- Ultrasound-guided biopsy technique sessions
- Practical demonstrations of interventional equipment
- Applied imaging-to-pathology correlation discussions
This balanced structure — lecture, workstation interpretation, and hands-on technique — ensures that participants leave with both cognitive knowledge and practical skill reinforcement.
Designed for modern breast imaging practice
Breast imaging continues to evolve rapidly — with expanding roles for:
- Abbreviated Breast MR
- Contrast Enhanced Mammography
- Artificial Intelligence
- Whole Breast Ultrasound
This program is intentionally structured to help radiologists integrate these modalities confidently and effectively into contemporary practice.
The Santa Fe difference
Many conferences provide excellent lectures.
Very few provide this level of structured, high-volume, workstation-based case interpretation combined with direct faculty interaction and practical tool-based learning.
This is not a passive meeting. It is an immersive clinical experience.
