This enduring material is designed for radiologists who find themselves challenged by the new practical issues of performing successful high-quality breast imaging in a changing medical environment.

Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, the participant should be able to:

• Apply new and improved skills in perception to the interpretation of screening mammograms.
• Develop strategies to reduce the possibility of a missed lesion at screening.
• Appraise the current status of interventional breast procedures, especially core biopsy.
• Appreciate the role of Whole Breast Ultrasound in breast cancer screening.

Target Audience

This enduring material is intended for all radiologists with a special interest in breast imaging. The faculty is comprised of nationally recognized expert teachers of breast imaging with a broad breadth of experience and knowledge in this field.
